On 25 May 2016, Cade’s Tribunal approved, after a request for public comment, the Guidelines for Cade's Antitrust Leniency Program, a document containing the best practices and procedures usually adopted by Cade’s General Superintendence in the negotiation and celebration of leniency agreements.  On 23 June of the same year, its English version was published.

The document, in the form of questions and answers, aims to provide to the society transparency to the negotiation process of leniency agreements, as well as to record the institutional memory in order to serve as a reference for future negotiations.

In September 2017, Cade updated the Guidelines to include a session that deals specifically within leniency in international cartels cases and more detailed information on leniency plus.
