In 15 days, more than 1,000 cases are dealt with entirely in CADE’s electronic platform for case management
Until 15 January, 1,300 cases were also being dealt with in CADE’s electronic platform for case management (SEI for its acronym in Portuguese), launched in the agency on 1st January. With the platform, all administrative records are being dealt electronically, since its creation to its storage.
On the same period, the new tool also registered 416 accreditations of external users, such as lawyers and suppliers of goods and services.
The electronic platform is a software developed by the Federal Regional Tribunal of the 4th Region (TRF 4ª Região) and it was implemented in Cade by the Resolution No. 11, of 24 November 2014. The implementation of the system is part of the Project CADE without paper and aims at optimizing the agency’s work routine, at promoting economical and environmental sustainability, and at reducing transaction costs to the parties concerned.
“The great effort of the Project CADE without paper is to make the agency´s work more transparent, versatile and secure. Moreover, the external users have been benefited by the implementation of the system. The signature of documents and the access to restricted process, for example, have been operated virtually with agility and security”, assessed Paulo Eduardo Oliveira, from SEI’s Managerial Center.
